How NGXL began
Your new favorite series has arrived!
The North Georgia XBall League (NGXL) was established in 2023 by Pickens County native, Joshua Stanley and his wife Kristen Stanley.
Eager to Bring Paintball Back to Georgia, we set out to create this series for competitive-level paintball players to get together.
In January of 2023: we begin to think *oh wow, this could actually work… so we go and build an astroturf paintball field in our front yard*
From February to March of 2023: we practiced and played in the front yard of our house that was still under construction, but the field was done!
Officially in April of 2023: we hosted NGXL #1 at Jeepfest with 27 teams in attendance.
Following that,
June 2023: NGXL #2, 37 teams participated.
August 2023: NGXL #3, 47 teams participated.
Then in September of 2023: we had to take down all fields after event #3 move locations and rebuild.
October 2023: NGXL #4, with 31 teams playing, it was our best event yet! We absolutely enjoy getting to see this thing grow more and more each time.
2024 has brought great growth and development as a series!
We continue to build and improve each event & look forward to always doing so!
